If only it wasn't so far from LA...... I would live there in a SECOND.

Long Beach also has much better looking people, in general as does San Jose.

Long Beach folks use LAX for International.

Sacramento folks use SFO for Asian flights or simply connect non-stop through either: Dulles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Philly, Charlotte, Minneapolis, PHX, LAX, Seattle, Portland, Vegas, JFK or Boston for non Asian International flights. And now that Oakland recently added those additional International flights Sacramento folks have that option, but I'd rather avoid driving to the Bay Area by connecting through midwest, southern or eastern hubs mentioned above for the non-Asian International flights.

I've know Sacramento folks who have taken the Capitol Corridor train which connects directly with a BART station that goes directly to SFO, or that connects directly with a Oakland station that takes you to directly to the Oakland airport.

NorCal is smart in having four main airports for it's 10million population versus SoCal having only 5 main airports for its 20 million population.

All the NorCal airports are pretty pleasant to use, Sacramento the best, San Jose next, Oakland (a bit too small for it's passenger load), and SFO really not that bad compared to other large American airports.

Long Beach's passenger load is quite small, but for the limited places they go it's an awesome little airport. You board from the tarmac. It's attractive with good food options, extremely easy to use. My number one airport to fly into SoCal from Sacramento. Only problem is the schedule is limited, something like 2 flights a day versus 10+ flights a day to LAX, or 5+ flights a day each to the other LA area airports: Burbank, Ontario, Orange County.

They are all very little diverse. Oakland is basically Little Africa and the others are Mexico (Long Beach is 40% Africa, 40% Mexico and 20% Hipsters).

SoCal has more than 5 airports.

Socals big 7

LAX
Burbank
John Wayne
Long Beach
Ontario
Palm Springs
San Diego

Sacramento airport is so crappy. It is cheaper to take a bus and fly out of the bay area vs flying out of Sac.

Sac has so few prime location flights that the price gets high once you want to leave the west coast. Cheaper to fly to NYC from SF than Sac, because of the larger supply of flights in SF. LoL!!!!

San Jose is the safest of the four. Long Beach is a bit safer than Sac.

Oakland is the most dangerous city in the western US, and has a higher murder rate than Chicago.

When your home is broken into in Oakland, they tell u fill out a report online, because they do not have enough police to help you. They literally lost 3 police cheifs in a few days a month ago, as Oakland police have been caught in an underage prostitute scandal.

The only thing saving Oakland is yuppies priced out of SF.
