Simply floored by Dade County. Might be it’s lowest number in decades.

What's with the discrepancy in Houston numbers. One of you guys is reporting 104 the other is reporting 128. within three days of each other. Unless, I missed a mass shooting we shouldn't be having a 24 murder spike in 3 days. I assume someone is either getting city numbers and the other has numbers that incorporate Harris county addresses that say Houston but are just unincorporated Harris County? OR maybe 104 is a few weeks behind.

Either way we are seeing in the 180-240 range for murders which is good compared to previous years. Hopefully the city is heading towards consistently under 200 murders a year, as that is progress from the 250-300 we have been seeing in the last few years.
