Is Richmond, VA more similar to Austin, TX or Orlando, FL?
Neither, really, but if I had to choose, I'd choose Austin. Orlando seems to me a bit more manufactured while both Richmond and Austin got the way they are organically.

Is Omaha more like Kansas City or Des Moines? (Central Plains Triangle battle.)

Des Moines. Closer in size. Which is more similar to Boise; Salt Lake City or Denver?

My guess would be SLC, because though SLC is left leaning, it is not yearly as much as Denver. Also, SLC and Boise are in more Mormon states than Colorado.

Is Toronto more similar to Los Angeles or DFW?

Overall Los Angeles due to size, population, culture, etc. Since Toronto has been compared to Sydney, and Sydney has been compared to Los Angeles, so technically Toronto could be compared to Los Angeles.

Is New York City more similar to Seattle or Atlanta?

Seattle. Waterfront cities with a lot of shipping, large Asian immigrant populations, fairly safe for major cities, highly educated. Seattle even has a borough-like layout with the ship canal and the various rail yards forming large divisions between different parts of the city.

Is Boise more like St. Louis or Birmingham, AL?

I'd say Chicago based on crime, decline. Is Buffalo NY more similar to Pittsburgh or Cleveland?
