Tuscaloosa because Lafayette isn't growing as much. Also, while Lincoln is almost an Omaha suburb, and Tuscaloosa is almost a Birmingham suburb, Lafayette stands alone more.

Is Tuscaloosa, AL more similar to Monroe, LA or Vicksburg, MS?

I'd say Monroe because they're closer in size and have no casinos. Which is more similar to Cedar Rapids IA; Evansville IN or Topeka KS?

Topeka, though the presence of Rev. Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church in the latter makes it less like its Central Plains peers than it otherwise might be. Still, the cities of the Central Plains are more like one another than they are like any east of the Mississippi.

Which is more like Des Moines, Omaha or Rockford?

Omaha for sure. Bigger city feel and both share a lot in common.

Which city is more similar to Huntsville, AL? Little Rock, AR or Greensboro, NC?

Little Rock has less of a scientific economic base than Huntsville and Greensboro. So Greensboro is more like Huntsville.

Is Broken Arrow, OK more similar to Round Rock, TX or Spring Valley, Nevada?

Round Rock easily. Both are in the south central region and aren't dependent on the entertainment industry is like Spring Valley is (just west of Vegas), which has a much drier climate and has larger mountains nearby. The accents are more similar too.

Is San Francisco more similar to New York City or Boston?

Boston for sure, especially size wise and though I'm not familiar but I hear (mainly on here) that Boston referred to as the San Francisco of the East Coast.

Is Atlanta more similar to Seattle or Los Angeles?

Los Angeles due to the hotter climate and cinema industry. Seattle is more tech based and cold.

Is Albany, New York more similar to Charleston, West Virginia or Richmond, Virginia?

Richmond, since Charleston is a smaller city. And Albany has a couple of satellite cities, like Schenectady, and Saratoga Springs. Richmond has at least a few, on Petersburg and Ashland. I don't think Charleston has any others, (although Huntington isn't too far west), and more stands alone.

Is Bend, OR more similar to Spokane, WA, or Boise, ID?

Definitely Boise. Spokane feels like a much bigger city than the other two --- it developed earlier so it has a big downtown with ornate stone facades, skyscrapers, and elevated walkways. It also has a much more blue-collar, industrial feel and isn't really outdoorsy or tourist-oriented despite being in the West and fairly close to mountains.

Is Charleston, WV more similar to Peoria, IL or Little Rock, AR?
