What, one restaurant we don't know about?..... Pittsburgh crushes Chicago in terms of Italian restaurants.

No, Fontano's is lost on the world and believe me, the entire world from Paris to Hong Kong is crying....
Not too mention owners of Italian restaurants in Little Italy and all over the city? Don't you realize that Italian food in New York is much better simply because the Italian population in the metro area is the largest in the US?
Even the most famous "Chicagoan" Al Capone was actually a New Yorker.

By the way, don't you think that if Chicago's food was as good as you say it is the clebrities would either move or frequent this city to dine and enjoy it? Can you draw conclusions on your own or you require a command to do that?

How many of us work in or live in these skyscrapers? I currently work in the Prudential Bldg, built in the 50s and at one time the tallest tower in Chicago. It sucks, from the slow elevators to the tiny windows and lack of natural light, cramped floor plan, etc. In a couple weeks my company is moving into a brand new 60-story tower that looks like a glass box with a few flourishes from the outside, but the inside is a dream. Floor to ceiling windows, open floor plan, plenty of natural light, soundproof conference rooms, fast elevators, etc. You have a much different perspective when you spend 40+ hours per week in one.

Well, celebrities are not only the tabloid sweethearts like Britney or Lohan. Celebrities in a broader meaning are our cultural, intellectual and business elite. They are the cutting edge of American life. And there are almost none in Chicago. Wonder why?
