You're basically saying that if 15 ppl lives in Hawaii and all 15 were say...puerto rican then the state of Hawaii would be more puerto rican than nyc which has almost 1 million puerto ricans in it. All because of climate.
Lol at this bull.
So forget all the contributions that ny made to Latin America. Forget the incredibly large sections that dwarf neighborhoods in Miami, forget that there are more west Indians in NYC than there ppl in Miami, forget all of that!!
Miami is hot all year around and that gives it a better Caribbean scene.
Lol at that but ok cool.
The ethinic nieghborhoods in NYC looks nothing like the nieghborhoods in the island in Miami they do.. Beaches in NYC look nothing like the nice white sandy beaches with sea blue green water. In Miami it does... Those caribbeans have to adapt to that NYC atmosphere.. Cold weather is something u will not find in the caribbeans.. Economy, wealth, scenery.. Enviroment all belong to Miami NYC just have the people...
Are the Heights or East Harlem ALL of NYC? How many of the other 12 million people in NYC are affected or influenced by the Caribbean enclaves?
Come to NYC and find out. Also is hip hop or salsa a global phenomenon? Has it effected over 12 mil worldwide?
The ethnic neighborhoods in NYC don have to be identical to the neighborhoods in the Caribbean as far as look, culturally they are identical. The topic is about the best Culture not scenery.
Hip hop is a black american phenomenon. Ya kool herc helped create it but the other 99% were blacks and latinos. Bambaataa had a bigger role in the actual creation of the culture aspect anyway

NYC may have strong sections of Caribbean culture, but Caribbean culture runs Miami. It damn near IS Miami. NYC is culturally Caribbean in the sense that Miami is culturally southern. It exists in sections, but there is a lot more going on.
POINT: Miami is mostly Caribbean and Latin American, culturally, ecologically, economically, etc. New York isn't, but it does have a lot of Caribbeans.

Don't speak on NYC tho. U don't know what you're talking about. If all west Indians left, NYC would be drastically different. No bodegas, beef patties, eTc. No pr day parade, dr day, etc.
U don't know what you're talking about at all and neither does the other guy. Again, it's me, a nyer, vs a bunch of uninformed or misinformed ppl.
Dominicans and Puerto Ricans would find it easier to fit in NYC because the neighborhoods here are identical to their island countries. C'mon ..the only difference is the winter time because NYC is colder than the carribean but in the summer NYC is more DR and PR then the islands themselves. Nobody here is gonna tell me about my neighborhood. Come on now.
