Actually, the first outfit that wanted to buy it did want to do student housing. The outfit that bought it does not. Also, preservation of the existing AgFirst building is in the deal. I learned all of this from a person who should know, but they were mum beyond what I have shared.

A "real" Starbucks will open up in the basement (old Sherlock Homes) of the Sheraton. It will be the first Starbucks in the state to serve alcohol. This was announced at business at midday a couple of weeks ago and I forgot to post it.

I was wondering why the sign for the resturant down there now was gone yesterday. That will be an interesting spot.
