Brass Pro Shop in Bridgeport was almost empty around 12:30 PM only 40 cars in parking lot out of 250 parking spaces. The store felt empty lines were short and employees look bored. I ask employee if the store always like this they told me it not that crowded. Driving on I-95 not alot of cars was exiting for Brass Pro Shop when I left most of cars was heading back on highway only 2 cars head downtown.
Actually the summer is commonly slow for retailing unless it is in a tourist area. Last Saturday I went into town and it was very quiet. I asked one of the retailers I went to and they said summer is always like this. Jay

I've been there three times in the past few months for kid birthday parties at the bowling alley. Parking lot always seemed fairly stocked, say 50-75% capacity. Perused the store and seemed like a decent amount of foot traffic in there. Heard the bowling alley gets pretty packed with long wait times.

Have to admit though, I did not count the cars leaving whether they were getting on 95 or going downtown, what was I thinking.

Looks like the Darien Rowayton Bank will be moving their headquarters to downtown Bridgeport. That tower was the original headquarters for Peoples Bank before they built the one across the street back in the 80's. This should be a nice addition to the city. Jay
