It looks like things are moving forward on the redevelopment of a couple of old factory complexes in the West End finally. Financing appears to be in place so developers will likely begin work next year on the Cherry Street lofts. This should be an improvement to this area. Jay

Good. Every time I drive past those old factories I think how beautiful they could be if restored. Gorgeous brown brick, great windows.

This abandon Remington building with estimated 34 squatters definitely needs to be demolished at least. No taxes paid. waste of useful land

That article is almost 2.5 years old... the site will be likely be the second Bridgeport Metro-North station to be called Barnum Station.

I was just in Bridgeport over the weekend...the city seems to be improving it's downtown area.

On metro north or I-95 you ever saw those abandoned buildings in Bport though you was in Detroit now these buildings seeing new life

$300 million for a train station?!?! Makes the busway look like a bargain in comparison.

Sounds like a it'll just make a longer train ride to NYC
