Same here. Almost makes me want to vote against them out of spite.

Something along the lines of what mass has for the community preservation act might help. 40B in mass is very similar to 8-32. CPA is a property tax surcharge that is matched with the state for things like housing, historical preservation, recreation and open space. Decisions are local and actually independent of town managers and mayors (i.e. no politics). I think housing authorities are a bit out of the loop as well. I don't think it's that bad to have a local say on the look of an area

correct, and it does make me vote against them at times.

Like junk mail, imo these texts need to be modified to cost the sender a fortune.

Whats funny is there is a guy named Pankaj Pankash running for state rep covering Rocky Hill & Wethersfield, but none of his campaign materials indicate he's a Republican. That is an odd decision, but it is purposeful.

Now remember to vote early and often.

I saw that with some commercials as the season started, on both sides.

Funny thing - my SO is getting a ton of political texts and I've only gotten a couple. I don't know what I did but not complaining as I get a ton of junk calls and texts as it is.

AGREE!!! I only got a few from Lucy Dathan & Stephanie Thomas . Stop spamming me on my phone. I never get that. it's like trolls on the internet, so pointless to do it and people just ignore them. Even the door to door thing. It's like they don't realize we have access to the outside world and can see their message through debates, websites, and tv news. Stop trying to force a vote on us

For what? Lamont? (have no idea)

The House becoming red? (you're probably right)

The Senate becoming red? (more likely than not, but would hardly think what you said above about it. It's going to be close and some races like PA and GA are razor close.....GA likely to go to a runoff if you ask me)

Whatever you meant, how do you know?
