Have y'all seen this before? The Procedure for Making a Final Determination seems positive. "In making the decision of whether to issue or deny the ARAP, a determination will be made regarding the lost value of the resource compared to the value of any proposed mitigation."

The proposed mitigation should be way more valuable than the current wetlands on interstate drive. This to me says TDEC weighing which is more valuable has to be the proposed mitigation plans proposed by the developers.

Agreed. I honestly don't see how TDEC can deny this proposal.

I heard to expect a TDEC decision around the first week of June. I also expect Paddock to file an appeal if they come through and approve the permit. If he appeals I believe there is another 30 days to submit feedback and another hearing has to be held. A lot more delays if he appeals unfortunately.

If you Google "Shoppes at Eagle Pointe Cookeville, TN" on page 2 of Google there is a PDF link that shows 20 public emails of support for the project sent to Mike Lee.

Page 1 Mike Lee From: Wendy J Will «wendyjiron(Qgmail.com.> Sen

Since it's a PDF I can't copy and paste the link. I hope more than 20 people emailed their support for this development since these emails will apparently be public record for their decision.

I know of at three additional people who sent emails that are not included in this pdf, and I'm sure there are many others. I honestly can't see how TDEC can deny this application.

They should have named this development The Shoppes at Eagle Pointe Landing & Centre Crossing Courtyard Plaza. That way the name would have all the buzzwords that slug you in the face and scream "UPSCALE SOPHISTICATION!!!" at a decibel level loud enough to kill small animals.

19 emails are dated 5/03/16; one dated 5/04/16. I'd say there are more emails to be scanned in and made public record.
