He did. You are simply not believing your eyes because it does not agree with the narrative that you accepted without the facts.

Now I know you're simply trolling. Buh bye.

Even the cops didn't claim that.

They said he reached for his waistband.

No, they told him to put the gun down 3 times. It's on the tape. Oh and the gun wasn't a "toy". It was a full fledged pellet gun with the safety removed to make it look like a real gun. Sounds like a Thug wanna be to me. It's shameful that it happened but that shame is on the man who sired the boy and the woman who laid with the deadbeat. It's not the fault of the police.

So, with that statement you're calling Deputy Chief Ed Tomba a liar.Well, since both Loehmann and Garmback are (proven) liars, then it's no big deal if the deputy chief is also a liar.

LOL, 'they told him, it's on the tape' -- there is no sound on the tape, it's video only.
Since you're hearing voices, why don't you share the sound portion of the video with the rest of us?

It has been mentioned many times, it wasn't his gun. The safety tip was probably removed by the original owner.

"not the fault of the police" , yeah I guess in your world it's standard procedure for cops to speed (40 mph or so) up to within a couple feet of someone and immediately, within a couple of seconds, jump out and shoot -- and not standard procedure to try to stop a distance away to try to first diffuse the situation.

(wondering if some people are such helicopter parents that they have their kids on leashes, dragging the kids around behind them, until the kids turn 18)

Those are your words, not mine. The picture & facts speak for themselves.

Actually those were your words. Tomba said he didn't - you said he did
Good grief, you can't even remember what you'd posted just a short while ago?

edited to add - still waiting on you to post the sound portion of the video, that you claim is on the tape

You are correct. I made a mistake about the tape. I am big enough to admit it. But that point is moot. The picture released and posted above is clear enough that a gun was pulled.

In regards to calling someone a liar, if anyone said a gun wasn't pulled then they are a liar or ignorant of the facts. Again the photo above proves otherwise. It sounds like a trifling point to me, but people will do anything to distract from what happened and to push an agenda.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/09/us...T.nav=top-news

"The two Cleveland police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old boy who was carrying a pellet gun, stood by without rendering medical aid as the boy lay wounded next to their patrol car, a newly released extended surveillance video shows."

This is the depraved "shoot first, ask questions later" mentality of too many thug cops. These toy soldiers like to think of themselves as the predators and guess who's the prey. This was OBVIOUSLY a CHILD not an adult. What kind of a depraved psycho starts shooting at a child immediately? That should be a LAST resort especially with a child but these cowboys think a badge and a gun give them the license to kill whomever and whenever they feel like.

"A shorter surveillance video released earlier showed Tamir being shot by a rookie Cleveland officer, Timothy Loehmann, seconds after the police cruiser arrived and skidded to a stop next to the boy at a gazebo"
