I checked and found that my payment will be made this Wednesday, March 17.
Also FYI: if you're using Firefox as your browser, you'll get an "Access Denied" message after you fill in the information and click "Continue". Firefox doesnt play well with some sites, including this one. I use Google Chrome as my alternate browser and it worked fine with the "Get My Payment" site.
My older daughter drove down from Idaho to visit last week. We had a wonderful time. She left this morning and is going to visit her kids and a few friends -- she'll be back just occasionally until she leaves to go home again. I love, love, love having her here but it's so hard when she leaves.

Thanks, Camper. My heart actually hurts when I have to watch her drive off. It might not be so bad if she didnt live so far away. Not only do I miss her but I also worry about her safety. Seeing her driving off to go 2,500+ miles away, especially knowing that she camps out along the way instead of using AirBnBs or hotels, is tough.
The last time I ordered a free sample of anti-aging facial cream - only $4.99 for S & H. The next month on my credit card I was charged $98.00 and $75.00 (?)- I forgot, a second charge in the same month.
I took the credit card statement to my bank, asked Staff to please check this out because I did not purchase anything with these prices. Sure enough, it was a scam. I got the charges removed, yet the following month this scenario continued. My neat and orderly credit card statements became a total debit/credit mess for several months.
I remembered the reason why I stay away from those ads of "Free Trials"
I'm so sorry that happened to you. But, to answer your question -- yes, stuff is really free. You may have to put up with a lot of spam emails, which is why I always use a throwaway email for freebies. And sometimes I'll agree to S&H. But I always read the fine print before giving up my credit card info.
I'm glad you posted about your problem, as that will remind people to be careful about using their credit card info.
