It was a while back I posted about getting these frozen pouches like Strawberry Daiquiri and Margaritas that we would lake camping.

I don't have anything to add - I tried a search for magazines as most of mine have run out - no luck. Hope you all are doing well, Feb. is the worst month for me personally - I'm ready for sun/daylight, wasn't cut out anymore for winter I guess (although I LOVE my winter sweaters which are actually cotton!! can't find that anymore). We don't even get any decent coupons anymore... hard for someone to try to save some money. Stay safe all!

Hang in there Bambi, spring is coming. . It's kinda grey here today with another cold front headed this way but it's Texas. Just had a nice weekend and the front won't last long. I love our winters, if you can even call them that.

Yeah, the freebies have just about dried up but on the other hand the store coupons have gotten better. Our main grocery store here ( HEB) has pretty good" buy this and get that free coupons". I ran in real quick today and bought Charmin and got a huge pack of paper plates ( almost $7.00 value) for free, which I need for the camper.

Thanks Camper - today was/is actually beautiful! It's 53 and sunny, yay! I've been loving it. Supposed to be warm tomorrow as well but then cold coming back Thurs. and Fri. - then warming up again next week - up and down weather.

I do like one store in particular for sales: Harris Teeter, they have B1G1F on many things but each rings up at half price so you don't have to actually get two if you don't want two - wish all the chains did that (i.e. - B1G1F value pack roast - I don't have room in my freezer for that many roasts).

Well dang it. Here I am miss little ray of sunshine and I got up yesterday with the most awful sore throat. It feels like I'm swallowing glass. I hate not feeling well. I even missed my Tuesday with Rita today. If it's still hurting tomorrow I'll do the walk of shame and find a Dr. just to be told it's allergies but you can never be to careful. I used to get strep at the drop of a hat when I worked. I don't remember strep hurting like this though. Oh well, I am " elderly" now. Ha!!

Flamingo, you brought up roast... do you have an instapot? About all I do with mine is a roast, but OMG!! The one with the ranch dressing to awesome!!
