please advise. rozypozy the one I had was pink and white

I would be glad to copy the book (pink and white) and send you the copy. Since I was on this site, I did join the new (points) program, it's very easy, after you figuare out that you MUST eat all the daily points. So if the old one won't work for you, give it a try. Where do I send it? regards, rozy

Smile I am starting 1972 diet.

I plan to follow what I remember, post a check off list on my refrigerator, weigh in every Thursday and report to you, blog, my results. I am optimistic. Wish me luck. Anyone else want to join?

Default day 3

Dear Blog, Please don't email me. I am not interested in email. Let's make it public. Let's try the 1972 diet and check in on this blog for how we are doing.

All the best, CHaya

Default calories

Could someone please email the calories we used to use to count daily calories - protein, bread, fruit, fat, milk? Please send to blog for public use.

I want to try this diet. I lost 20 pounds in 1972 and after struggling since then, I feel resolved to try the old plan.

Thank-you.
Chaya

1 protein (size of your palm) =
1 bread (carbohydrate) (1 slice regular, 1 slice diet) =
1 fruit ( 1 medium size) =
1 milk (1 cup) =
1 fat (1 teaspoon) =

Default protein = 60 calories?

Where did we get 60 calories for one protein on the old program? Because it balances out?

chicken and beef are more.

I think most cheese is also more?

what was the thinking?

is anyone out there?

Chaya

Hello, could you send me a copy of the original weight watcher plan as in the pink and white book? I would be happy to get it. Thank-you if you would.

Default first week lost .88 pounds

alright so it wasn't exactly a landslide. But I started my new program at a time when it's not easy to concentrate. That's worth something.

Also no cake, cookies, bagels. Make your own daily and weekly eating chart. Go for it. Maybe check in on this blog and weigh in once a week.
Thank you, sorry so late replying. I live in a snow belt....still snowing and did not get back on for a few. I will say, this is about what our program in 1972-74 did. Thanks
