We are enthusiastic supporters because for once in our lives we see a politican who is actually honest, consistent, and is not running for his own benefit. This is a golden opportunity to make a meaningful change, and I at least am going to work hard throughout the campaign to get Paul the nomination, instead of sitting in front of the TV screen and saying "reality, Paul cant win because Ray said so..."

That's the problem. We all see the problems in this country, but yet we all sit around and go "nope, can't happen!" So, we sweep guys like Ross Perot (who was right about that great sucking sound BTW) and Ron Paul under the rug, and settle for the 2 handpicked candidates and then vote for one of the "lesser of two evils." But are they really? With everything I've seen, they've all been one and the same! Bush and Obama? No difference! Here we have a guy that truly believes in getting our troops home, and minding our own DAMN business, getting the corporate cronyism out of DC, and giving the government back to the people, as well as getting the government out of peoples personal lives, yet he is considered kooky???? WTF??? We are spreading ourselves WAAAAAAAAYYYY too thin! We are broke! We have an erroding middle class because of our BS policies and the catering to fat cat large corporations who set the rules to benefit themselves, and to hell with the small and medium sized business owners! We are losing our OWN individual freedoms by being told what we can, and cannot consume, not to mention the TSA and their shaking down of US citizens! We play the world cop, and attempt to force our "democracy" down the throat of others, who clearly don't want it! Anyone ever hear of the Roman Empire? Well folks, keep voting for the status f***n' quo, and that is EXACTLY where we're heading!

I agree that we need different kinds of "leaders." But I just don't feel that Ron Paul is the "one." (At least not for me anyway.) I'm still "looking!" To be honest I don't have full confidence in any of the GOP candidates or Obama.

Well then i hope you find "the one" before the $h17 hits the fan ... That is in case you didnt realize that it already has ...

I just wonder how much of it we will be buried in before people are finally getting scared ... I mean you guys say we are delusional about hoping Dr. Paul will wins, but you guys are delusional in your complacency and apathy seemingly completely unaware that the bottom is about to fall out of this MOFO in a big way! And i don't care if your sitting on 3000000 dollars, it wont be worth the paper its printed on pretty soon and you're going to be up the creek without a paddle along with everyone else. So i caution people not to allow a false sense of personal security to lull them into acceptance and ultimately complicity with the powers that are destroying this(and many others) nation.

By the looks of these maps that show where campaign contributions are coming from it's obvious it's gonna come down to Paul vs Romney...

The recent $$$ bomb isn't included...

They don't elect the President based on money bombs, the elect based on actual voting.

Agreed....Our country is facing major problems. But I just don't view Ron Paul as the "savior" and "end all be all."

The thing is the Media is most likely ignoring 17 of the 28 polls that have Ron Paul a LOT higher up. It only stands to reason that he would be in first or second place. How on earth could he win all these straw polls and win polls in BIG States like Texas and California if he was as low in the polls as the media tries to have people believe?

He may not be the end all be all. But he is a better choice than the other choices that we're being given on both sides of the aisle!

We all have our own likes and dislikes and thoughts and feelings about each of the candidates. (And everything in life!) We're all unique individuals with "minds" and preferences of our very own...What seems to make "perfect sense" to us may or may not "make sense" to someone else...What seems "right" or "normal" to us may or may not seem "right" or "normal" to other people...And we have to accept that everyone is not going to agree with us. And accept that everyone is not going to see things "our way" in order to have "peace of mind." Otherwise it's easy to "fly off the handle" and come "all unglued" when we run into "differences."....I don't expect everyone to "see things my way." I run into people with "opposite views" all the time. This is all normal to me. I don't bring up politics or religion when I am out in public because it could lead to "heated debates" and I don't want this. And I don't want to spend my life trying to "convert others." It's pretty hopeless anyway! Most people are "set in their ways." ....Nobody likes to be around "pushy people" who try to "shove" their beliefs "down our throats." This is a big "turn-off!" It's a good way to "lose" friends!
