So says a few overzealous Ron Paul fanatics every fours years, only to get the cold slap of reality in the face. That is all well and good that you enthusiastically support your candidate but when your are temporarily suspending reality to convince yourself of a level of support that doesn't exist you aren't helping his campaign at all.

Tell you what we'll revisit this thread after the first primary and you can offer an analysis of where your 40% went. I'm sure it will involve nefarious actions by the men in black that you have no evidence of other than an inability to rationalize how delusional you were in thinking he had support of 40% of the voters.

You have to believe what you have to believe, but here in reality land Ron Paul is not a top tier candidate and that is why he doesn't get as much media attention.

You've provided only 11 (probably the lowest 11). There are 28. I got those results from Dailypaul.com but you can take your pick. Just search on-line for "More GOP Polls show Ron Paul in 1st place"

All of the candidates have to make their way to the "top" and stay there if they hope to be considred a true contender..This is the way the system operates. Candidates who stay in the "middle" or at the "bottom" aren't considred "top contenders." Some candidates may have loyal and faithful supporters but if they don't make it to the "top" and stay there they just won't get very much "press." (Or mention.)

Polls average place Ron Paul in 1st place 2nd place - Yahoo! Search Results
OK, gave your link a shot. Took a look at the links on the first two pages - they were all to skewed websites or blogs. The one that was to politico was two months old.

Took a look a the Dailypaul site - couldn't find any poll stats on the home page and certainly didn't want to slog through pages of arbitrarily positive Ron Paul posts/articles/etc.

Sorry, think I'll stick with my 11 validated poll stats.

You Paul ppl need to start dealing with reality....just sayin'

and do what? go back to apathy? vote for obama? for a carbon copy of him?
We are enthusiastic supporters because for once in our lives we see a politican who is actually honest, consistent, and is not running for his own benefit. This is a golden opportunity to make a meaningful change, and I at least am going to work hard throughout the campaign to get Paul the nomination, instead of sitting in front of the TV screen and saying "reality, Paul cant win because Ray said so..."

There are so many Ron Paul threads...One right after another! (With new ones to come!) Ron Paul definitely has a lot of dedicated and faithful fans and supporters. (Who want him to win!)...I don't know if the polls are rigged or not. But most of the "GOP people" I know don't place Ron Paul at the top of their list. They like him "ok" and agree with some of his ideas. But he is not their "first choice" at all.
