Everything Thompson says in debates or interviews is good; immigration, military/security, abortion, taxes/spending. He is winning in some states and should not be counted out. Not a flip flopper, too.

If a person is a believer in God as their Creator--there is no way they could separate Him from their way of life. He would permeate everything they did, or thought. Separation of church and State is completely different than "Separation of God and State. There are many Churches, and religions--but only one God--and I don't see how He could be excluded from anything--After all he is the Creator, and none of us--including atheists would be here without Him. Try as we may--He will not go away, or be excluded. I don't think he is probably very pleased right now with any of us, but probably wishes he had never invented us. How egotistical of man to try to exclude him from whatever they do--even their stupid political decisions. when they could probably use his wisdom the most. They should be praising him openly, instead of keeping it secret, afraid of offending someone. God loves to be praised loudly by everyone.

I agree! And the wize cracks about his looks and such will not work to discredit him. I am not that shallow.

When you seek public office you give up the right to keep much of your previously private life as private, for good reason. You will gain major responsibility and accountability over our citizens and country and most everyone wants to ensure you are who you say you are and that you represent those who would vote for you.

The original intent of seperation of church and state was so that the government wouldn't interfere in the affairs of the church. Politicians who are Christians have the freedom to pray on the steps of the capitol building, read from God's word, and be open about the role of "religion" in government. You've got the meaning backwards..

It shouldn't matter. And it's sad that it does. We're electing a political leader, not a minister.

there is no such thing as god, get over it, the sad thing is people like you are EXTREMLY common and have a huge infleunce in deciding elections

We need to do something about you, despite the Republicans goal of cutting taxes for the wealthy and giving handouts to people making $100,000 a year or more, the biggest problem in America are people like you, who buy into the Republicscum practices because they cater to people like you and make believe they are Religious people
