Remember if he doesn't get enough delegates to win on the first ballot he is through and there are a lot of Republicans that are looking for this to happen. Trump was even seen as the possible winner in Texas according to polls. That is what many are us are talking about. He lost Texas, Minn. Ok and Alaska. To me, this says he isn't as strong as it appears. No one is saying he isn't doing well or that it is likely anyone will come close to catching him. You may want to also think of the candidates that are staying in: It is pretty certain if and when one or more drops out they will through their support to anyone other than Trump, with the exception of Carson. He is a mystery.
Carson is going all the way to the convention, and aint going anywhere. He is in it for the long haul. He is very strong on Christianity and strong on taxes. Real strong on those.

I don't think he can afford that. I expect him to drop soon.
The large disparity is the superdelegates, who are irrelevant, as they will switch to the nominee with the most pledged delegates anyway.
You wouldn't know this by watching the corporately owned media.
If there were superdelegates in the Republican primary you know they would not be talking about them. They still talk about Rubio and Cruz like they have a chance-but Bernie is "done". Yeah, ok.
The media and establishment is going after Trump hard now. They are no longer worried sbout Bernie. It's pretty clear they know Cruz will lose to Hillary and then we will have another party thumping war president. Things will get worse for everyone who isn't already at the top.
She is pro-TPP and she never sees a war she doesnt like. She is directly responsible for the destruction of a whole country, Libya, which is in total chaos, after she said she had learned from Iraq. No candidate has received more donations from war corporations than her. They love her, for good reason. War and the TPP are totally destructive and no one can trust her on anything she says.
...The Dem party has no chance of winning without the progressive wing
I agree, and progressives WON'T vote for Hillary. Makes you wonder why the DNC is so hell-bent on giving Hillary the nod.
I am happy also for Rubio. Of course this is good for him. It isn't only the delegates but the fact he has shown can win. As for Cruz, like so many I do not like him and he is too far to the right for me, but, at least he sticks by what he says, has strong feelings, and we would know what we were getting if he is elected. Then as I have said more than once this am, either Cruz or Rubio might be able to get us to a brokered convention.
A brokered convention would not be good for the Republican Party. Especially if they choose someone different than the people chose as the candidate. If that happens, Trump will find a 3rd party to run him as the candidate, and nobody could really blame him at that point. That would likely lead to a Clinton victory.
