It would figure. Hill is already the presumptive nominee but the donald is very polarizing figure so turnout should be higher. Some want don and many are desperate to stop him.
"many are desperate to stop him."
The establishment haven't been successful yet.
They threw tens of millions at Jeb and look at where it got them.
Rubio is their next "hope". He only won 1 state yesterday, and that was Minnesota who had elected Jesse Ventura. That doesn't say much about them.
Latest CNN poll shows Hillary relatively tied with Sanders among independents (42-44). Among democrats, she is leading huge, so she WILL make turnout higher.
I don't agree about the turnout.
It hasn't been the case so far and I think it is due to media insistence that she already has the nomination.
People are not energized by inevitability.
Interestingly, only ~120,000 people chose candidates at the caucuses last night in all of Colorado. The turnout was bigger than expected and bigger than in 2008.
That enthusiasm, such as it was, wasn't for Hillary since we know she lost in CO by a large margin.
That being said, there are ~2.9 million people in the Denver metro, ~5.4 million across the state.
Last night's turnout is nothing to brag about and I don't see it getting much better moving forward.

I agree. Many Dems do not like Hilary which is why Sanders is doing decent and why tens of thousands are disaffecting to vote for Trump. Regardless of the media "polls" are saying, I suspect that if it comes down to Hillary and Trump in November then we will be hailing to the Apprentice in 2017. The Dems are too suborn and too party-thumping to vote for Bernie, so they'll lose in November and then blame Bernie for the next several decades.
Trump did awesome as expected. So funny that people were saying he was not a serious candidate and/or would drop out in the first couple of months.
Glad to see Bernie got some traction. I know he won't get the nomination but hopefully the Dem party listens to him. Hillary should be in prison. The thought of her a POTUS is horrifying.
Trump steam rolls ahead!
I didn't read through the thread as I figured it would be the same old made up reasons why Trump did so well and the others so poorly. Reality has yet to set in for the dreamers.
Kasich is getting a portion of the votes Rubio would otherwise, for the most part. This was evident in several states yesterday, particularly Virginia. Kasich is the spoiler at this point.

I hope people don't fall for the lies of Ted Cruz and Rubio, as well as the media spin. It's frustrating how the only strategy here is to take out Trump, as if the voters who support him don't matter.
Yeah, I think a LOT of lefties are forgetting that there is a LARGE portion of their party that would never vote for HRC.
They are shouting how a Trump nomination wil ensure a HRC win, and point to (R)s who claim they'll vote Dem rather than Trump.
While they might very well be sincere, what seems to be lost is that many of the Sanders voters will vote Trump over her.
So there will be a great amount of crossover voting from both sides.
