They did not use a 2004 model per se. The way she put it is that it just came out looking like 2004 based on the people who made it through the questions they ask to determine likely voters. She did not detail that out though. One would presume that many Obama voters are not going to show up this year, I guess. This was a mistake Republicans made in 2012. Clinton has a strong GOTV in Ohio. Time will tell.

I agree....Florida is a must win for Trump and a game clincher for Hillary. Hillary could lose Florida and still win but less than likely.

Trump's path to victory is very tough. He MUST get either PA or VA...very difficult to achieve, especially given the growing NOVA suburbs.

Thankfully, we’ve mostly moved past Hillary and Democrat view as a society but they want to keep reliving it and keep trying to drag us back. They want ya'll to be in chains controlled by Democrats. Well we are only 50 years into the next 200 years in reference to how Democrat LBJ wants it. The Democratic game plan is whatever Democrats are guilty of project it onto republicans and it's working for them, why would they change?

Just watched past elections someone had 54 to 40 or something and still lost. Who are they polling?? Fl turning white as we speak. All the snow birds in the great migration. Wished they could not vote here, etc. only in their home state. ! But much can change- debate coming up.

Brexit taught us something.
If Trump is behind in the polls he still has a strong chance to win, if he is ahead in polls he will schlong Clinton.

The deplorable's comment a fundraising pitch to a group of rich elitist to encourage them to give her money.

Deplorables ... nouning adjectives to give a name to social classes. That's what the elitist think of the every day hard working American. She was referencing the same group of people then Sen Obama dismissed in April 2008, while speaking at a San Francisco-area fundraiser, as “clinging to guns or religion.”

The Democratic contempt for what used to be considered bedrock, middle-class citizens is part of today’s political equation. It is the natural conclusion to draw after analyzing the Democrats’ campaign message over the past few campaign cycles. It would be like the opposition calling Hillary's supporters hood rats in a fundraiser to elites.

He doesn't have to get either. Romney states plus FL, OH, ME D2 and IA would give him 260.

That means Trump could win by:

- NV + NH

Or

- PA

Or

- MI

Or

- WI

Or

- VA

Or

- CO (this would give him 269...goes to republican controlled house)

As of now, the first option may be most likely. 538's now-cast has Trump winning NV and the forecasts range from 31-35% for him to win NH. PA, MI, WI and CO are all in the ~25% range.
