No surprise Clinton is getting a debate bump. Same thing happened with Kerry and Romney after they win their first debate. Trump has work tp do here to do better in the next debate and run ads and campaign in Florida, NC, and Colorado

Polltracker is a poll reporting agency. They claim to be the most accurate and up to date in reporting national and state polls and also averaging them. I have their ap on my iphone and get updates on polls as they come in.
This is their website

Do people like Hillary so much they would vote for her if she was Republican or are they voting Pary?

Are people voting party or possibilities? .... Which one would you vote for?

Hillary Clinton (Republican)
- Wants to raise taxes on the American people (you'll have less money),
- Many years in politics with very little accomplished,
- Running a very negative campaign because she can't run on her record.
- Private server in the bathroom putting young Americans life at risk,
- Lying about Benghazi, blaming it on a video instead of her own incompetence,
- Deleting 30,000 + emails after she was told to turn them over,
- Used the state department to enrich herself,
- Wants to rebuild our infrastructure
- Has a long history of corruption,
- Free college which will cause higher costs which will increase taxes,
- Almost 300 days since she's let the media ask her tough questions,
- Hillary Clinton knows that she is above the law and gets away with things if we did we would go to prison for.

Donald Trump (Democrat)
- Wants to lower taxes so you can keep more of your money,
- Make doing business in the United States more attractive so business will come here.
- Help the black community (school choice, encourage business)
- Bring money from oversees back so money will be invested in our country,
- Wants to make trade agreements fair to the U.S.
- Rebuild our infrastructure
- Law and order so people can live in safety,
- Vet people coming in so we don't let people in who want to kill Americans,
- Wants to bring down the cost of college

Ah, OK - THE Polltracker. Sorry. For some reason I thought you were using the word in the generic sense, and the ones I've been following lately differed somewhat. Thanks!

538 said Trump had a 2% chance of being nominated.

But I don't think that Romney or Kerry or their opponents came out of the debates with nearly 2/3 of the country thinking they were incompetent and lacked the temperament to be president. That sentiment has been consistent for some time now in polling and the debates just reinforced it with those who might be willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt.

You are confusing his personal predictions to the formula prediction.
