Really? Trump is out for himself and the rich. And no one has to remind us that we are the greatest nation because we are. Do you really need someone to remind you of that. Well, I guess you do but I'm sure the majority don't need to be reminded.

There's a lot of people who have forgotten the basics of how great we are. Especially when it comes to our mix of culture and our drive to innovate. It's sad, but true.

But Trump is not the one to remind us. He doesn't like the mix of culture. When you have the white supremacists hailing him with the Hitler salute....it's pretty scary.

I think you're mixing Trump up with the idiots that voted for him in the primaries. He catered to those idiots for votes.

I voted for Obama in '08, I have been appalled ever since over the way he has talked about our nation overseas. How dare he. Like I said, Trump at least sounds proud of the nation he has sought to lead.
Vietnam and Iraq don`t deserve an apology?

By cooking the numbers. Until Obama, the WH did not include those turned around directly at the border. BO included them. With the same methods used, he deported fewer than his predecessors, of those who actually got into the US in the first place.

Geez!!! Just reading some of this stuff is itself enough to make one had a bad taste. These self consumed Right Wingers will bring the country down over the next few years. Most have the limited concept of a humanitarian society, they don't understand what regulatory governance is, nor do they have any concern of regard for the premise of the Constitution or for the Growth the Founders envisaged for that Constitution to move American Forward. They seem to have a "stuck in time mentality".
On one hand one a segment of those who voted for Trump, wants Trump to help business through the governance system, on the other hand; a segment of those who voted for Trump does not want anything or anyone helped. then there of the others who want to turn American back to a image of the 1950's. they are going to whine and cry no matter which ways things go. That is just the Republican Mentality.

They take so much for Granted, to be so blind to the progress made over the past 8 ys, and others can't stand the fact that a black man as President helped save the economic system and helped peoples lives.

Too many want just what they had in their convention, a lot of anguished outburst and bully talk, and a crowd environment that looked just like what was in the Republican Convention.

These people don't care about America as a whole, they care about trying to rebuild a white dominated system, not much else matters to some of them.

If they cared about fair and equitable business and employee respect, they'd be in support of Unions, so workers have a collective voice.
If they cared about American Business, they'd want to see the government help American Business like governments help business in other countries who have dominated the the industrial sector.

They'd want EPA to improve not shrink, They'd want to see Health Care Programs improved not disbanded.
They would be in support of Medicare and Medicaid, and the removal of Co Pay for people over 65 who fit within an income level.

Unfortunately, they are of the type whom demonstrate 50+ yrs ago how little humane compassion they have, and how little they care about equality in the Civil Rights within society.
They would be in support of improving Public Schools, not trying to figure out how to extract funds from public schools to promote private schools.

If they cared about American, they would stand against privatizations of any type or level of Government Services and Government Function.

If they cared about American, they would want more regulation on Banks and Wall Street and they would want to recreate The Glass-Steagall Act, also known as the Banking Act of 1933, and improve its controls and regulatory powers.

If they cared for America and the future of the young, not only would community colleges again be free, State University would go back to the model which existed before Ronald Reagan gutted the system.

All these things which once existed, fell apart, all as a protracted fight against the advances that Civil Rights promoted, because many of the people who supported the dismantling and shut out of things that worked, did so, because historically they could not digest anyone benefiting through these systems, except white people. They would rather have destroyed such things, than to accept equality and accessibility for all.

They will destroy anything that has an "Equality Accessibility" for any Program, Service or Benefit for the Public. People must remember: "SOME" of these people are the offspring's of those who fought against Civil Rights, "SOME" these are people who are offspring's of people who supported 100 yrs of segregation. "SOME" of these are people who chose to support Union busting, because they could not share a concept of class and craft equality with minorities, as "SOME" of these are people who wanted to feel special and they wanted a superior roles for themselves, and when they could not have a superior role and position, their impulse and drive is as its always been; they'd destroy it before they accept the full circle equality within it.
They now whine and cry because they don't get the preferential first option and the ability to close the door behind them, thus so, they now whine and claim they are being ignored, because all focus does not go to them. They claim now they are mistreated, because they can't have first options of refusal about anything and everything.
They simply detest the fact they must fit into the equality line.
They still don't grasp the fact that affirmative actions was a program, that was created because of their denials and efforts to stop integration and block participation and deny equality in advancements.

Beneath it all, "SOME" of these people have a delusion that America only belongs to them.

"SOME" of them hope that Trump can return the nation to some type of system where they again, dominate everything.

Wake up factor is simple, it simply is not going to happen. American will be an ash pile before such happens, because for one, "SOME" of these people will themselves destroy things before they accept to share things in a system of full circle equality, and other things will be destroyed because they try and lock out others.

Likely, we will see at some points "Martial Law" - It likely will be instituted first in places like Chicago, because of the high gun violence and murder rates. It will likely be spread to other areas of others cities, targeting the Gang culture. Curfew and restricted gun possession in those areas, and high incarceration as well as high deportation of illegals who are gang members. That's a likely first move, because localized law enforcement has been over taxed and they can't stop the violence and disband the gangs. This same scenario may well extend to the white extremist sectors as well, until these elements are contained, diminished and a civility is restored.

Once that has been done, by then, hopefully- "SOME" of these Types as mentioned above, settle down and face up to living in a world of diversity with equality as the premise. If they can get to that point, then American can flourish as a united people as being Americans. Some will be awakened to learn and understand that Outsourcing was a program designed to keep minorities and women down, and the result considered poor whites as collateral damage in such a program. Hopefully, when people get that understanding, they will stand up for equality not only as people, but equality and respect in how jobs respect the employees and come to terms that America, needs to produce no less than 40% of what it consumes. if not 50-60%., and we must do it as a unified people whom are Americans.
