I admit, I do like most of the female Democrats running (especially Elizabeth), and I’ll be voting for whoever the nominee is. I just want Trump out!

Nope. I had considered him as he is eloquent and intelligent. But, when I read his platform on a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens, he lost me. I don’t like Trump and the other Democrats are way too far to the left for me. Another election where I won’t vote for either candidate. How about a more centrist candidate who won’t divide us?

The pathway to citizenship Buttigieg is speaking of is DACA—the “dreamers” who were brought to the US as small children. Some wacko sites imply what you speak of.

Yes--I really like him. He's incredibly intelligent and articulate, educated, military experience, and has governing experience--a lot more so than past and present candidates. He also presents actual policy plans, solutions to real problems, ways to pay for those solutions and projections into the future. I'd put him up against anyone in a debate. I also like Warren for most of the same reasons--she has policies, plans and ways to pay for them. She stands up for what she believes and she is a fighter--also very intelligent and engaging.

The debates will narrow the field.

Sneaky Pete's not going to win the nomination.

He's already peaked and begun his downward trajectory into obscurity.

Exactly. No one would have heard of him.

Trump 2020.

I wouldn't be so fast to underestimate Pete Buttigieg. I would like to see him as the nominee, or, if Biden is the nominee, I hope that he considers Mayor Pete for VP. Before you decide not to give Pete the time of day, you should at least take the time listen to him. He's a veteran, laid back, thoughtful, and smart.

Mayor Pete is becoming more and more known. Three millennials watched his town hall on TV with me last week. They were very impressed with Buttigieg.

Mayor Pete can give Trump a real challenge. Buttigieg has made Trump’s remarks about him look out-of-date and stupid. I notice that Trump has quit making slurs about Buttigieg for the last couple weeks. Trump himself knows he is out-smarted out-classed by Buttigieg.
