So I guess you're saying 59% of the voters of Kansas are uneducated ignoramuses.

It's all fun and games until conservatives start stripping away your constitutionally protected rights. I'm not sure if they realize yet what a hornet's nest that they poked.
Really, I'm even confident that the majority of Republican women don't want Republican male legislators telling them they will have to be directed to hospice care for difficult pregnancies killing them. Those who are able to avoid hospice care by going to a legal state for life-saving abortions don't want to be told when coming back that they will be subject to murder charges with as much as the death penalty if convicted. I bet the majority of Republican women also don't want to be told by male Republican legislators they have no right to use birth control to reduce the possibility of having unwanted pregnancies. If you vote in Nov. to keep them in office, then you're only signaling to them that you, too, believe that birth control must be banned. Of course, the majority of Republican men will quite strongly disagree with that.

Furthermore, women everywhere better wake up to the fact that Republicans really and truly want as much as the death penalty given to women who get abortions. For undeniable proof I'm right see here:

Huffpost? Death penalty? Funny coming from the party of abortions on demand accusing Republicans of killing. You can't make this up.

No wonder, since they are well within their child bearing years and don't want Republican legislators telling them that they must give birth against their wills or have to do as much as die on a hospice bed, due to a difficult pregnancy. Like it or not, there really are Republicans running for office advertising that they are 100% pro-life with no exceptions.

I don't think so. Notwithstanding the fact that Democrats pushed a misleading and flat out false campaign in Kansas, you will find that many Americans don't support some of the more restrictive positions on abortion, even in Republican or conservative states. That said, this isn't issue number one for most voters. Similarly, in Washington State, when put to the ballot, voters overturned a law passed by leftists in the legislature to give illegal immigrants drivers licenses. Most Americans--left or right--don't support that either, but it isn't something that is going to stop a Democrat from voting Democrat; just not high enough up on the list of important issues. But when able to single things out for a specialized/particularized vote, you may very well see things go the other way. I'd wager that's what we saw in Kansas.

Tell me something. Did you not read one word of the article? It's from 2019, but now the states are perfectly free to ban all abortion as well as pass the death penalty for abortion. My guess would be that Trump's conservatives on the Supreme Court would not consider it as cruel and unusual punishment. Here is one of the key parts of the article:

"In total, 446 people testified in support of the “Abolition of Abortion in Texas Act,” or House Bill 896, which aims to outlaw all abortions “regardless of any contrary federal law, executive order, or court decision.” State Rep. Tony Tinderholt (R) introduced the bill in 2017, which would define abortion as murder which is punishable by death in the state of Texas."

They sent it back to the states in this case but you have to be blind to see that Alito, Thomas and Barrett didn't want anything but a ban on abortion. Sure let the people decide, I can't wait for the next ballot issue so the people can decide.

Methinks you falsely attribute the Value Them Both campaign, brought forth by the ruby-red KS State Legislature, as a Democratic campaign. You should look into who brought that referendum up for a vote and why. Dumb move by dumb people. Keep trying in November though, with the same strategy, please.
