We're talking about Pennsylvania here. Do you doubt that the biggest beneficiaries of government largesse in the state live in inner-city Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, the Mon Valley, etc.? Those are some of the most heavily Democrat-leaning places in the country.
Per capita...you`re as wrong as wrong can be. Allegheny county gets more government money than Tioga county. Do you know why that is?
Turns out the elitists of City-Data shouldn't quit their day job when it comes to predicting election results. Us everyday Pennsylvanians never let the elitists dissuade us, and we got out and voted for the guy who has our back. Go Pennsylvania! Go Fetterman! Go us! Don't hate us, appreciate us! Don't hate us, get out there and try to understand the Fetterman voter! We matter! Our voice matters! Woooooo!
The victory isn't a shock based on polling data. The Republicans though got themselves into a spot where they thought it was a slam dunk due to reminding over-protein at the polls. This year it looked like they are under-performing. I think I know why, bad candidates.
I look forward to looking at how polling was done not on in PA but elsewhere.
I think people like when it comes to Arizona thought that polling for Senate races reflected enough of the electorate. It hasn't. Later polling reflected more of the unsure voters coming towards Election Day but, not the early voting which is very prominent in Arizona due to how far some people in more rural areas need to go for their physical polling location or timing with their jobs (longer waits due to the processing problems notwithstanding.)
Yet the cesspool of violent crime city hugely contributed, and for someone that is soft on crime and defends and enables criminals. Can’t make this stuff up, lol

They may have been bad picks, Kathy Barnette would have been much better, but I would have thought a turnip would beat Fetterman. Well, that state definitely deserves what they get.

Just looked at Google, there also Fetterman votes living here in Allentown. Those precincts near Allentown we're as deep blue as Philly's. Pittsburgh was light blue. Surprisingly the Pennsylvania/New Jersey border precincts were all light or more likely deep blue. It's like they knew Dr. Carpetbag or something...
