I don't believe most of what I see about Ukraine. Your avarage Ukrainian is a great example of humanity from what I've seen. Problem is the cream is not rising to the top. There's a lot of scum up there though.

Then go there for yourself and see it. Easier than ever to get to with new flight routes opening up monthly. Despite banning flights to Russia, Ukraine has seen airline passenger #'s far in excess of anytime in its history, up 20% this year so far and last year was close to 20% more than the year before. I just suggest staying out of the conflict zone.

In more train news, Nikolaev will be building trains to replace the Luhansk factory being shutdown. People even moved there from Luhansk to work there. Will be using Belgian engines...

Why aren't they using Ukrainian engines?

The engines in Ukraine were made in Luhansk and they weren't as good as western engines anyway. When I say engines, I mean the DE engines inside of the locomotives. Just clarifying for those who call the locomotive the "engine".

There are over a million Ukrainians from Russian occupied areas who now live in the rest of Ukraine. So your last comment is just ignorant. The terrorists are the Russians there, not the civilians who lost their livelihoods for the russky mir.

Seth Nering was killed as a result of the crash of a Su-27 aircraft in Ukraine. Seth “Jethro” Nering served in the 194th Fighter Squadron of the California National Aviation Guard.

Also as a result of the fall of the Su-27, Ukrainian pilot Ivan Petrenko was killed.

That's why the painting made by formidable Vasya Lozhkin announces; "When the end of the world will come, the heaven will rain down the brimstone and fire, everyone will die!!! Only Russia will be saved!!!
So save yourself! Stay with us!

But nobody wants to join Russia. That's what the Maidan was about afterall.

As for military threats, the poor condition of the Russian economy plus the sanctions imposed for the annexation of Ukrainian territory has reduced Russian military capabilities. This is particularly true when it comes to producing new weapons systems. Russia has become like Iran, announcing new weapons that are little more than a press release and some unworkable prototypes.
