My dear Vera, the Nazi party ruled Germany between 1933-1945.
You cannot call everyone you dislike a Nazi.
Why not? There's a lot of similarities to the tools Hitler and his people used. Matter of fact they're the same bunch of butt heads.
There was an article written years ago about the individuals that brought Hitler to power and aided Germany in WWII. It wasn't just Germans. It was Austrians, Hungarians, Chechs and a few others. It's the MINDSET of these people that sets them apart. Call them Aryans, White Supremecists, Ukrops or yes, even Nazis. They come under many banners.
I'll call them what I like.
Russians know who they're up against too. Some people never change.
Wow, okay so more propaganda. Hail Stalin, the only reason the USSR won the war. Ukraine was on the same side as Russia then so its probably an important lesson for Russia if it wants to be important to the world, then they need to work with Ukraine on reforming their countries together instead of fighting against it.

Nazi's viewed themselves as the master race. It formed the backbone of their ideology to rule by force. Ukrainians don't do this. They are basically the same race as Russians, just like Germans and Austrians. They also aren't doing pretty much anything else the Nazi's did except fight Russians.

Nazis were dedicated to the elevation of the "Aryan race" above all else. The notion that one race is superior to others is hardly unique though, as throughout history we have seen it pop up all over the world. What would you call Hindus in India who seek to preserve their own purity and are against any mixture with people from other sects?
In the last decade, the term "Nazi" has been casually thrown around to describe anyone who opposes the subject's political viewpoint.
Russians call Ukrainians Nazis.
Ukrainians do the same to Russia.
Iran calls Israel, the Nazi succesor state.
Netanyahu labels Iran the new "Nazi Germany".
The US has been labelled that as well.
It's being used too casually, which is disrespectful to the actual victims of WW2. Certain fribge groups may have vague similarities to them, but in a practical sense they would likely disagree. The Nazis had a very low opinion of Slavic people.

Former Nazis consulted with the CIA on Operation Condor in Latin America. It has been documented that they had been re-settled in Colonia, Argentina.
There is a writeup in the Nation on the Ukrainian neo-Nazis.

For me, there are some main characteristics of nazis, whether they're yesterday's or today's:
1. They simply feel they’re above and somehow better than other people
2. They can treat some nations/group of people like some kind of insects (this way it’s easier to kill)
3. And, yes, they kill people, who just feel and think differently.

If Ukrainians want to create an independent state, they have no choice but to use nationalistic ideas. Strength of the nationalists is young people. Some of which are genuinely real Nazis, who share Hitler's ideas about racial superiority. Normal states are struggling with such ideas, but Ukraine needs people-carriers of a sovereign national idea. The government is forced to rely on their strength. If they do not create a national idea, Russia will drag Ukraine back. Because most of the territory of Ukraine is a Russian land with a Russian population.
Both options (independent Ukraine or return to Russia) are possible and have advantages. Return to Russia will mean an improvement in the quality of life and a return to the historical mental space. Independent Ukraine will allow the local elite to continue its independent policy from Moscow, creating more accessible social elevators for the local population.

You are describing Russians here more than Ukrainians.

Rejoin Russia? As if a nation can't do better than that... Do you think its still possible to fool Ukrainians into thinking Russia is better standard of living than Europe? Or keep them from understanding why Europe is so nice compared to Russia? You know they can travel there now, and see for themselves how nice Poland is compared to Russia and Belarus. Its over, that train has left the station.
