At best Ukraine will be considered a third tier country in the club, a low cost manufacturing country probably (my native country of Italy and a member founder of the EU is second tier at best behind the real center pf power, the German-French duo).
No it actually IS Russian Propaganda. I saw it with my own eyes watching Russian news during the Euromaidan days. Endless "news" and commentators telling Russian speakers in Ukraine that choosing Europe would lead to their doom and the toilet cleaning one was used again and again. The main point of their propaganda was to dissuade Ukrainians from the benefits of adopting trade agreements with Europe. It was borderline hysterical. It continues today, telling them that getting the new biometric passports to be able to visit the EU is going to be harmful to their health. No wonder Ukraine banned this junk from their airwaves.

I'm part Italian, part Serbo-Croatian, but my Italian skills are nonexistent. I could probably get a good grasp of it someday as I do speak both French and Spanish (somewhat).

You are taking some random examples and plastering it all over the wall. BTW, Ukrainians are hardly the only ones working in the porn industry. There's quite a bit more to the corporate world, then simply being either a CEO or having a blue-collar job.
Yes, it very much is Russian propaganda as that exact sentence "cleaning toilets in the EU" has been used all over the place. On this forum we've had you, Saturno, erasure, Maksim and I believe Turist use it, not to mention it being brought up on different forums as well. "Cleaning toilets in the EU" . Sure, some people will likely be doing it to support themselves until they get financial stability, but that's what almost everyone does around the world if they are in need of an income. Those who have valuable skills will be working in IT, medical fields as accountants...

There may be other drawbacks to joining the EU and perhaps having a stronger bond with Russia is beneficial in some areas, but the "toilet crap" is pure drivel.

Milky, it has nothing to do with propaganda, we used the term "cleaning toilet" as a metaphor not in the literary sense, meaning menial jobs (feel free of not believing me but actually I never heard that term on the Russian TV/Videos I did watch) which is and will be the reality for many......for example, at the time of the joining of several Eastern European countries in the EU there was the fear of the "Polish plumber", it did not mean that everybody from Poland was going to be a plumber....I'm pretty sure that Ukraine, at best, will be a low cost production country for EU firms....even on the corruption front I would not hold my breath considering the level of corruption in core EU countries such as Italy, Greece and Spain.....Ukraine already closed down famous heavy air cargo manufacturer Antonov, there was a plan to build the next generation cargo planes in conjunction with Russia but the 2014 crisis blew things up and now the Russians are designing and building that plane on their own (or probably with the Chinese as partners)

Does Russia or China pull the financial strings of the world behind the scene?
Or do they claim to be "representative" of the whole world?
Or does THEIR culture is sold to the rest of the world as the culture worth to emulate and follow?
If not, the only way they can dominate the world, is strictly through the military power.
The question remains though - what for? In other words - they are simply neither equipped nor tuned for this particular purpose.

What I meant to say was that humans spend fortunes to build temples dedicated to the gods they worship ( givers of life), but feel no remorse when engaging in rape. The womb being the giver of life, is the most sacred temple.
I suspect that since it IS a case, it is somehow the controversial and destructive point of the whole "creation" thing reflected in the Bible.
My guess too, is that the this particular verse in the bible - "Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety" means just that, that woman ( as part of creation) would have been destroyed, but it's this particularly important function of childbearing is going to save her ( as creation) after all, since in this respect woman is indispensable.

Meanwhile, it's clear, that in spite of being the "most sacred temple," the most prominent world religions are weary of women, to say the least.
And of course we see that societies across the world differ on the whole "woman's issue" and this obviously plays role in simmering conflicts. It's unavoidable.

The contribution of the Czech Republic to the porn industry is much greater. Prague is the capital of European porn.

China has all the potential to become the next dominant power in all aspects be it military, cultural, econonical or even political. More nations may end up looking at the Chinese model if they end up being successful.
The Soviet model was sold to a lot of countries around the world, including China which is why there were so many revolutions in the first place.
We are likely going to see more and more Chinese movies make headways into foreign markets. Don't underestimate the soft power the movie industry holds. It has been one if Hollywood's greatest strengths.

Soft power holds a lot more weight then it is given credit. It has long been the US strength and it's greatest export.

Would you believe me if I told you that I've never actually read the Bible? I'm familiar with certain topics it covers but not the work as a whole.
