There was a meeting in congress or some high government place between doctors and representatives and they were discussing the crisis. The doctors stated that we are vastly underprepared for something like this and we need to be prepared.
Some idiot asked the question. "Where are we going to get the money for this?" The doctors proceeded to tear the guy to pieces by pointing out the trillions of dollars wasted on the wars in the last 20 years.
I can't think of a single country in the world where the mood regarding the virus is a good one. Everyone is getting a good shock. But there is absolutely no evidence of Ukraine refusing test kits because they came from Russia. It's nonsense. No matter how much propaganda they push whether from state TV or "bloggers" it isn't going to make it true. I would ban flights from Italy too.
Russia is doing the right thing, close borders with China and Europe.
Ukraine needs to do it too. Their health care system is going through changes and that means they're vulnerable.

Because it’s a snowball effect. Toilet paper is very bulky and easy to notice, it probably started with one person stocking up, and then other people thinking I should probably do that too (forgetting about all the other items). All in all pretty crazy. Americans (including myself) should probably abandon the unsanitary practice all together and adopt the bidet, unfortunately American soldiers during WWII associated it with brothels when they were stationed in France, so the bidet never caught on in the US.

I think that the CDC is able to control the epidemic and produce required number of tests. Could US authorities try to hide the epidemic so stock market not crash?
