...and that's why Zelensky keeps on begging for money and NATO membership.
The crazies think that the West should go and fight with Russia on their behalf.
Since Putin is not *impressed,* obviously, just by the threat "we have NATO on our side," the crazies want NATO soldiers to fight Russia for real, apparently...
Hearing that Russian airborne assault helicopters have been seen over the LDNR. A lot, Havocs,Hinds and troop carriers. This video is apparently true. Just where it's from i don't know/

Okay that's Putin's "victory". He prevented Ukraine from supposedly launching an offensive to end his artificial rebellion. That actually happened in 2014 but okay lets agree it somehow happened again. Now what? You think Ukraine will just capitulate and not respond if his rebels try to take more land? Its not going to happen. The only way to solve the problem is through diplomacy but if Putin doesn't get what he wants, either he has to change what he wants or this just drags on with unknown consequences.

That is not what the rebels want, however, this is exactly what the Kiev junta feared the most in case of a confrontation...losing half of the country east of the Dnieper and any access to the sea....I think Daddy called little Volodymyr and told him it was time to stop playing toy soldier and put the helmet away.

That wasn't an answer. Putin knows the way he views the Minsk accord cannot be implemented. The consequences of Putin's provocation are unknown at this point. He is like a little boy acting out to get attention. It could end up costing him.

Putin did not provoke anyone, the Minsk accord can be implemented. Ukraine needs to turn into a Federal Republic and give to the Donbass autonomy and cultural (read language) freedom, protection for the minorities.
Kiev, simply does not want do that so the stalemate.
Russia has long had your own Swift - the Financial message transmission system. If suddenly these idiots still decide to disconnect Russia from Swift, then the only thing that this can lead to is some problems with settlements with foreign counterparties. It's a double-edged sword. How will they then buy Russian grain, oil and gas? But I think the Chinese will be only too happy to provide their own platforms for these purposes.
As of mid-2018, the SPFS users were more than 400 organizations-mainly Russian banks (almost all regions of Russia are represented)[1]. Thus, the number of Russian SPFS users exceeded the number of Russian SWIFT participants[2].
from trade wars to independent financial messaging systems
then evolving to real wars

Moving 40k troops to the border regions, unleashing war propaganda and threatening violence is a provocation. What you describe for the Minsk accord is not what Russia is insisting on. Russia will not allow elections in the occupied territories to take place according to Ukrainian law as Minsk stipulates. The main sticking point (to hold a fake election under their military control) is simply not addressed because it is anti-Russian to give Ukrainians in the Donbas any agency of their own. Autocracy must deny agency to citizens.
So now what? There's a lot of ways this can go. Russia is giving the West a lot of reasons to help Ukraine finish off the Russian entities in Donetsk by any means.
