Meanwhile, China is very interested in the laboratories found in Ukraine and in these documents. And not only the Chinese. The NATO bloc is panicking a bit. I think they have already offered to drop some charges (otherwise why are there so many of them) in exchange for the opportunity to hush up and slow down the whole thing.

A: denazify (that was the first supposed reason)
B: to stop NATO from setting up nuclear warheads in Ukraine (Never happened)

You have to distinguish between nationalists and ordinary Ukrainians.
Personally, yes, I did not think that they would hide in cities full of peaceful people. Russia opens humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of the population, but nationalists block many exits. I also misjudged that Zelensky would prefer the death of civilians and destroyed cities instead of capitulation.
