Doesn't surprise me or anyone else who lived under the jackboot of the Soviets/Russians. There is a common phrase in some of the former Eastern Bloc countries that summarizes the history with Russians - loosely translated, whenever there were Russians involved, they were never right/they were always in the wrong.
Recently read a headline about a Russian pilot landing in Turkey who announced over the PA system to the passengers that Russia is wrong in what they are doing in Ukraine. As well, brain drain going on as the educated Russians are leaving by land to neighboring countries while they can still flee.
Whether Putin succeeds in what he wants doesn't even matter anymore. He has turned himself and by default his country into a worldwide pariah.

It was Azov that was not allowing the evacuation of civilians.

Maxim, that's why I personally rely on Youtube more than on any written material.
Because anyone can write whatever they like, but I need to see with my own eyes and hear what people are saying. ( How they look, where they are exactly and so on.)
Now that all the old official Russian channels are shut down here in US, ( and it's more difficult to make cross-reference who says what on English-speaking channels vs Russian ones,) it takes time to find the new ones, that are SHOWING the news from locations, not just *talking* about it.
Plus the ones that don't cut people half way, when whatever they say becomes *inconvenient* all of a sudden for propaganda purposes.
"2 days take over", which was never planned by Putin?? Russians have nowhere to hurry now, they blocked most large Ukrainian cities, they cannot take them because Ukrainian Nazi army uses Nazi tactics, just like Hitler - use civilians and civilian infrastructure as a shield. Russians aren't NATO, they want to avoid civilians casualties as much as they can.
So you conveniently skipped my description of NATO as the most evil imperialistic military block ever created. One of the reasons Putin is at war now, because he fed up with NATO/West dictating him what to do and how to live and constantly expanding towards Russian borders. I don't support his war, but I can understand his motivation.
BTW, no matter how much weapons NATO will sell to Lithuania, if Russia decides to take it - it will, and there's no one to stop them, NATO just don't have balls, they only bomb and shoot those which cannot properly respond - the army of cowards.
