Russia can do something about it and it's starting to look like they might. You know very little of military matters there. The ineptitude of the Turkish military is legendary. The Syrians are battle hardened by 9 years of war and supported by one of the finest militaries on this planet.

Erdogan is out of his league and I'm beginning to think he's out of his mind. If Russia strikes Turkish positions in Syria it will be devastating and no one will do anything about it.

They already have an agreement from 2018 about how to handle the situation in Idlib. It's just that Putin interprets things differently. De-escalation to Putin means the other side backs down so his side can conquer by force. Same in Idlib as same in Donetsk, as same in Georgia, etc.

Now Edrogan has put Russia on notice that this stops now. Russia is a paper tiger and can only attack non state actors.

And "destabilization of situation" American way means exactly that - once America established the powers in the region that serve American interests, any actions against these powers mean "destabilization."

And it's the same for Ukraine and anywhere else around the world)))

P.S. What's going to happen between Erdogan Putin et al in Syria, remains to be seen.

From what I understand Syria and Turkey don't want those terrorists in Idlib province on their respective soil, that's a big part of the problem. Syria has been attacking all along the front in order to secure the M-6 highway going to Aleppo and has largely succeeded these last few weeks in doing so.

The rebels have been harassing the Russian bases in the area with drones for a long time so Russia doesn't want them there either. A big problem is all of the refugees in the area. Idlib is a hellhole filled with terrorists and the moderate head choppers that wanted to oust the legitimate government of Syria and regular inhabitants just trying to survive this mess. You usually can't tell the difference.

What needs to be done is for somebody to get control of the bad guys in that pocket so things calm down. What Russia is going to do is still up in the air but it appears Turkey and Syria may fight. Syria is in the right here, that land is theirs.

What Russia is going to do is follow the lead of Turkey here. As long as Turkey does not threaten Russia's interests here it will be this way. The Russian interest is protection of historical allies namely the Syrian Christians and the protection of fellow tyrants in general. Neither of which Turkey will threaten. It's a line in the sand is all.

"...protection of fellow tyrants in general.." How much pathos in these words..

With Turkey, everything is very simple - Erdogan sleeps and sees himself as a Sultan and dreams of reviving the Ottoman Empire. And all his actions in Idlib are subordinated to this-to take these lands from Syria, which Turkey lost as a result of the Lausanne peace Treaty of 1923.

Elizarov about Shevchuk and Makarevich.

https://youtu.be/ogN_wf3NYWo

And after that he writes songs about "the laws of Colorado":

https://youtu.be/r2Nko7VfDRo

Spoiler

Text of the highest quality (in theory and in technical execution). And the references in music to Siberian punk-rock are only pleasing.

And compare with Grebenshchikov protest song, which appeared in top YouTube and was liked by Russian liberals.

Elizarov is just another universe.

PS: I wonder who is more stronger - Vysotsky or Elizarov, and I have not yet decided on a decision.

WARSAW (FNI) - The official biography of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is fake, Kristina Krystyna Kurczab-Redlich says. A Polish journalist...
I had no doubt in Polish journalism. And they did not fail my expectations.
