I never ate them in my life, don't even want to get near, there are quite a few stands who sell them, especially near the stadium before matchdays, and they are quite unhealthy but they are the kind of food someone eats once a week.

Most cuisines can be healthy if you eat moderately, and Scandinavian can be as healthy as Italian (both coastal cuisines, I might add). Everything else is a matter of aesthetic tastes.
I admit that i never tried Scandinavian cuisine, aside from Ikea it's nowhere to be found in Italy. Anyway, bread, pasta and the like aren't too heavy, i don't know why people have this obsession that carbs are heavy. I was referring to the use of creams instead of olive oil.

You made me hungry. French sweets, pastries and sorbets are hard to beat

Well, I don't have much a sweet tooth (I'm a salt fiend too, btw! Lucky my blood pressure is OK. The cholesterol isn't.) but if there's alcohol in it then I might be interested

Tell us what it is then!

French desserts are sublime, even to a savoury man like myself.

canelés au nutella, a canelé is a pastry made of milk, salted butter, egg yolks flour and rum and vanilla -- these ones are sweet canelés but you can make your own salty canelés like my mother did once, canelés au canard, i never eaten them but they always look'ed) very pretty.
