The cuisine of a country is not what is on the menu in 5-star restaurants. It is what people eat at home gathered around the dinner table every night. Very few travelers ever get an opportunity to sample that.

But BTTT yes arig Italian food ( and lovers ) are brilliant.
They put French men in fourth. They watched too much films and went too many times in Paris. I think I'd kill for an English guy or woman. Or German. Or Japanese... or someone, whatever.

I'm too picky to have a favorite cuisine, beside fries, rice, potatoes and pastas.

With almonds yes. The one my father ate was with almonds, raisins and smelled of alcohol. Don't know what there was inside.

EDIT : ah well, maybe next time I should read the link I post -- kirsch, maybe it was kirsch inside.

I like Spanish Mediterranean.

I also like Nordic food. The ingredients, seafood and game are are so fresh, it is no wonder they didn't bother developing a cuisine. But then again, I love fiskepudding.

True, but you can't import enough people who know how to eat to support good chefs

Why should you import people?

And as a Japanese I don't you have any business dissing any other country's cuisine, as 99% of what you eat is absolutely revolting.
