Ha! My Brazilian friends are all in their 50s-60s and dress like that! They are all nice, beautiful, happily married ladies who take care of themselves and this is normal dress for them. Since meeting them, I dress like this, too! Not so much see-thru, but form fitting, short and showing cleavage. I am in my 60s. I don't ask anyone's permission how to dress, and no one else should either, so yeah, the answer is IT IS OK. People are going to like or not like whatever you do, so do what pleases you!
Either she can pull it off or she can't, regardless of age. People are individuals. Maybe she was really 30 or 50.

When I read a thread like this, I always assume the OP was checking out some woman walking ahead of him and liking what he saw, then she turned around and he realized that she was older than he thought.
Do you think for a woman that is 40+ it is okay to wear tight clothes or dresses/skirts that say are above the knee? What about see-through tops? I was at the mall the other day and saw a woman that looked 40-something and she had a skirt well above the knees and a top that had significant cleavage and thought those should be reserved for the younger girls.
I'm pretty sure it's OK for women of any age to wear whatever makes them feel comfortable and/or attractive, but maybe I missed the memo.

Well, some people think they look good in it and instead of having people curse, scream or bust out crying, I never say what I think...
I have a 50 year old coworker wearing SHORT skirts and tight tops and she looks amazing (department manager), she has a great body for her age and can wear whatever she wants and looks great.
I see 20 year old girls/women wearing SHORT skirts and tight tops at Walmart and they look trashy. Why? Because their face/hair looks cheap or they are chubby and their belly hangs out or their arm/butt cellulite shows.
Age isn't so much a factor as their body type. 40 is hardly old and many women still look amazing while there are many 20 year old women who I'd just as soon keep covered head to toe. Anything that's too clingy or see through is kind of tacky.
