Not sure what is going to happen with Hurricane Sandy, so I am making Sunday gravy and DH is making beef stew. We should be covered if power is out for any amount of time. Thank goodness for a gas stove and gas heat.
For anyone in the path of Sandy, be safe.
As horrible as the storm could be, at least, you do have some gas. We have a propane fireleplace, we need to stock up on the propane, btw but we have everything else electric.
You would think we're 4 year olds, but I think I'll use up some crescent rolls and some hotdogs and make rollups, with cheese, mustard and relish inside. Also baked beans.
The sauce has been cooking for hours with some sweet Italian sausage in it and will put the pot on soon for the pasta.
