Tonight tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches (dark rye bread with Gouda and thin slices of Bartlett pear).For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

Last night was South West egg rolls, filling was Mexican chorizo, onion, poblano, black beans, corn, cumin, oregano, chili powder and queso fresco. sides were homemade salsa, pickled red onion and my guacamole.

Tonight we are having lemon/garlic crusted chicken breasts; cauliflower/broccoli salad and winter squash.

Quiche with ham, mushrooms, green peas and a big salad.

My plans for yesterday were delayed as my shopped didn't find all the ingredients I needed. So today I cook.

Last night a friend sent down some homemade apple scones with ginger and walnuts. I'm enjoying one with Mayan honey as I type. Sticky keys!

Two acorn squash and a butternut squash were orphaned on my doorstep this morning. Trusty neighbors come through!

I’m making stuffed chicken tonight - it’s a recipe I developed and I usually use chicken breast but I couldn’t find any in the freezer so I’m going to try using thighs. Should be interesting. Spinach is in the stuffing, so I’ll have some sautéed spinach on the side and either a simple pasta side or potatoes- haven’t decided which.
