Popeye's fried chicken! I did the survey on the back of the receipt so I got 2 pieces of chicken and a biscuit free when I buy a large drink. Not a bad meal for $2.55!

My husband made me a country skillet meal which consists of homefried potatoes, onions, peppers, scrambled eggs, slathered with sausage gravy and fresh biscuits. It's a recreation of a meal at one of our favorite breakfast restaurants, it was fantastic!

My husband took dinner out from the club. We go there every year and this year they had take out.

Baked wild Mediterranean style salmon. potatoes au gratin, fresh very thin green beans, tossed salad with house dressing. Warm dinner rolls and Irish butter.

For desert something I almost never indulge in, New York Style Cheese cake with strawberry topping in a separate cup. It was so good. Not to sweet, but very rich.

To drink, Pinot noir.

I am sauteeing (spelling) pork chops smothered in onions and mushrooms. Also doing masked yams in brandy sauce, and cold slaw with fresh fruit. I will keep 1/2 for us and take the rest to a friend and her husband. She just got out of the hospital after knee replacement. It as her second on the same knee as infection set in the first time. She needs all the help she can get.

Yesterday, my daughters best friend, sorta our 4th daughter brought us ribs, beans and potato salad as we had cancelled our family get together due to the stupid COCID 19 and the weather was cold. WE decided it wasn't a good idea for 15 of us to gather inside. .
