Oh gosh! It's Mother's Day tomorrow? I forgot. Haven't seen my kids in forever. I'm getting kind of tired of not seeing people. Phone just doesn't do the trick.
I have Italian sausage browning on the stove. I'll serve them with a jar of home canned tomatoes, peppers, garlic and onions my daughter gave me. She also put a bag of lumaconi pasta in the bag. Never seen them before. They look and are about the size of snail shells. I'll grate some parmesan on top.
Have a bag of romaine hearts and will toss a Caesar salad.
We need a dessert snack around. A week ago I made a banana bundt cake. Maybe blondie brownies with chocolate chips and walnuts? Yes.
I have a recipe from Alm I am going to try. One of her German specialties. I know that it will be a while but I've been thinking about it. Right now it's gardening time but when I finally feel the time is right to tackle the challenge I'll take a picture.
Tres quesos (3 cheese) stuffed eggplant with salsa escalivada and garlic allioli. A very good vegetarian dish.
