The plan was to fire up the grill for tonight's dinner..... well that didn't happen. Anyway, we had broiled Beyond hot sausages with dijon mustard and my homemade horseradish, vegan kartoffelsalat (German potato salad), and sauteed, garlicky kale. A glass of zinfandel to drink. And for dessert Mrs B's killer vegan sourdough banana bread!

What kind of pan are you using? Pot roast is usually done in a pan taller than it is wide that has a lid. Heavy pans such as enameled cast iron are a bonus. Did you do it in a Pyrex?

Weird combo tonight since we didn't properly plan.

We made fresh homemade baked bread, ate it with EVOO and balsamic vinegar...and then ate some vegan teriyaki soy jerky afterwards for the protein lol.

Now I'm super thirsty, so I'm going to fix myself a nice cold glass of probiotic fruit punch.

I did it in a 8 x 11 Pyrex and covered with foil as directed on package. I salvaged it as much as I could. I poured chicken broth over everything, LOL. It semi came back to life and was edible. I also had several glasses of wine before that so who really knows that answer

Tonight is Italian night: Chicken parm over spaghetti and garlic bread. I swear if this comes out bad I'm going to Taco Bell

Thinking to make tonight linguine with a lemon juice, white wine, fresh minced garlic and whipping cream sauce. To drink a glass of local Ontario white wine. For dessert marinated sliced strawberries in a bit of sugar and Vodka.

melted butter
lemon juice and white wine
fresh minced garlic
whipping cream
mix sauce with pasta and garnish with black pepper,a bit more lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese.
