sounds good. when they say tomatoes do they mean 8 whole ones? could i get away with using puree?
My husband can't have fresh tomatoes because of the seeds so I would have to seed them. It calls for roasted cumin powder, can I toast the cumin in a small pan? is this dish spicy? I never made Indian food before.
Decided to turn the burgers into a Cuban style panini.

sheet pan dinner of pork chop with Montreal steak seasoning, and yellow squash and onions with a chipotle maple glaze. Fresh strawberries and ice cream for dessert.
Leftover chipotle marinated grilled boneless chicken breaast on top of a big mixed salad -- including sunflower seeds, feta cheese and dried blueberries. A wedge of leftover Greek cheese pie from Trader Joe's -- very yummy if you haven't tried it. Fresh cherries for dessert.
I had a poke bowl, which was the first time that I've had one outside of Hawaii. They styled it as a "poke salad" here.
The fish was fresh and tasty. I wasn't a fan of the whole salad thing and cold rice (everywhere I've had poke has had hot rice, and I've loved the contrast between the coldness of the poke and the warmth of the rice).
Nearly a pound of beef-liver cooked in a bunch of unsalted-butter, YAY.
