Going to make that lasagna today but with beef instead of Italian sausage. Big salad on the side and some homemade Italian bread.

Mr.Almrausch is spending today deep cleaning, scrubbing the large shower walls, clearing the drain and removing old caulking along the edges and putting new caulking on.I have pitty on him doing this long and messy task and I think I will make him his favorite meal.

In the afternoon Sunday cake with apricot jam and black coffee by the fireplace and for tonight saag paneer/spinach with makki ki roti/corn rotis, green chili raita. For dessert warm kheer with pistachios and a hint of rosewater served with a cup of masala chai.

Vietnamese caramel chicken. It's an easy recipe and I have all the ingredients. Salty, sweet, spicy, sticky, definitely to serve with a cucumber salad. It's getting cool-ish around here, transitioning to those rich stew meals. So this is a kind of in-between dish.

Have an important interview tomorrow afternoon, which will determine where I move to later this week... & as a stress non-eater with my jumbled up stomach filled with butterflies, I won't eat much. I'm just having trouble keeping down 1/2 shot of espresso.

A bit of lettuce-cuke-tomato with homemade lemon-oil dressing, maybe... or a small bowl of the giant batch of beef stew I made for my mum last night. It really tastes great, but I took 1/2 bite at midnight & was doubled over in stress stomach pain 'til 7am, when I finally passed out from exhaustion.

Been a tough year... for all of us... fingers crossed that it ends on a good note. For me, that's employment.

I have had a red sauce with sausage and ground beef simmering on my stove for a couple hours now. I am using that in the lasagna I am making for dinner tonight. I will serve with some garlic bread my husband has promised to make.

Beer battered fish fillets and asparagus, small glass of moscato wine and water.

Dessert: split one of those microwaveable brownie mixes and added a dollop of whipped cream.
