Baking is my passion,because my baking books are only in German...handed down from Generations I had to look up English websites so that you can see and read them.I just wanted to share these beautiful cakes and honestly they are not that difficult to bake. These I do only on special occasions. When we are in Austria my friend owns a Restaurant, so she offered to bake them. That way we safe some money.

Wow - that's a simple recipe. I always thought Beer Soup had cheese in it - maybe I saw a Wisconsin version.

wow Almrausch, beautiful! I wish I could bake. It's not my forte. I can cook up a storm, but something about baking...I feel like I just can't get it right.

I would really like to be able to bake bread that can actually be eaten and not saved to start the foundation on our home when we build it. Cooking not an issue with me but very few baked items turn out well for me. Oh well, I'll take my cooking gift and my limited baking gift and be happy and enjoy the talents of others baking gifts.
