We heard you the first time. We love dairy products and soy products...things that come from dirt and things secreted from a cow's body - yum!

I wasn't forcing my opinion on anyone -redwingsfan-, just stating what I like/don't like.
Things that come from dirt could of been grown with cow poo so there is some stuff secreted from a cow's body for you.

Now can we get back on the topic please???

Just moving into Atlanta from South Florida, I FINALLY got to TJ's. I bought the organic strip steak and was not impressed. It was quite chewy and tough. They were sampling the the Apple tart which was delicious. I bought the eggplant spread which was great, and Dr. Bronners peppermint soap. I also found pomegranete seeds which I never found before and put them in a spinach salad.. Need to go back to do some more exploring...

No Trader Joes here, sad to say. When I lived in Portland, went to the one on SE 39th.

Tigerlily, I also had to leave Portland due to the weather. Otherwise, would still be there, a great city!

My husband and I love Trader Joe's. It's a lot cheaper than Whole Foods. We're from NY.

...Whole Foods...aka Whole Paycheck...has some nice things...but I can't figger out half of them...

Here in Colorado, Whole Foods just out Wild Oats...have been to both...can't tell them apart, looked like twins to start with...

We liked TJ's back in NoVA...lots of interesting frozen items you don't see in the regular supermarkets-which are full of schlock from the usual corporate mega-billion-dollar purveyors of fat-&-carb-laden junk...

We have a few Whole Foods and Wild Oats here where I live but they don't pull in one tenth of the business of Trader Joe's. I like knowing that I'm buying things that haven't been on the shelf very long - TJ's fits that need while Whole Foods/Wild Oats do not...I have bought a few things there (cereal, fruits, veggies - found them not up to par).

In the places I've lived it's been just the opposite. Most people do their shopping at Wild Oats and Whole Foods. They get way more business than Trader Joe's.
