Carry out from my favorite pizza parlor Milanos. Today was their 40 anniversary and pizzas were $4.00 for a 14 inch & 2-liters were .50 cents. I had my usual extra onion pizza.
Lazy today. 3 lbs. of dried lentils in the stock pot, with 2 lbs. of Kielbasa Polish sausage, 3 8oz. cans of tomato sauce, 2 medium onions, salt and pepper, very simple and delicious, it's now simmering.
Last week, lazy again: Crockpot Stroganof. 8 lbs. of beef, family size can of cream of mushroom soup, 2 lbs. of mushrooms, 3 cups of red wine, onions, water, salt, pepper, sour cream. On noodles, it was out-of-this-world!!! Froze half of it, more yummies down the road!
When it comes to going out to eat, too lazy to get properly dressed, too lazy to make the journey to the car, too impatient with traffic, too impatient waiting for the waitress to take my order, too impatient for the bill to arrive,
and then the dreaded repeat ordeal of returning home.
And then if the food was not pleasing, I get home and rile my neighors with my neverending cursing and swearing and neverending chants: Never again!
Never again! Never again!
We usually have grits for breakfast, but shrimp and grits is really good.
Grits are good with breakfast!!

I've eaten grits since I was a baby!! Salt, pepper and butter is great ..... add shredded cheddar cheese better. Have you ever tried them with butter, salt and banana?? It's great...mash a good ripe banana up in them!!! Mom's English from the Bahamas and fed us this at times. Trust me it's a good combo.
