Also, blasphemy that you included LL Cool J as Long Island (this coming from a kid who came up in Cleveland in the 80s/90s, I had to look up to find out 30 years later he actually wasn't born in Queens ... did not know that until 5 minutes ago). At the same time, you left off the most famous rapper in not only Long Island history but up there with any from "NYC," The God MC himself, Rakim.
wow this is news to me also. I have started to realize that no matter how much someone reps an area you still gotta look up where they were born lol. Even Stephen A who reps Hollis is originally from The Bronx.

I agree. It's the places where you just use the "first name" and don't have to explain the state because it's such common knowledge.

Until now there were no mentions of Moore, and Norman Oklahoma to the most (in)famous suburbs in America, all has to do to the fact that Moore OK was hit by 2 tornadoes in 1999, and 2013 that gained both national and international attention, and Norman OK is not just home to the University of Oklahoma, but also the National Weather Center one of the first names when it comes to mind of predicting severe weather especially tornadoes and severe thunderstorms

Good point.

I heard of Moore but I had no idea where Moore is and that it is a suburb. I guess this is similar to the guy who said he did not know Lexington and Concord were suburbs of Boston.

I've heard of both...but TBH I only know Normal OK b/c of OU (and its CFB program mainly...being a UT-Austin alumni). Hack, I don't even realized that NWC is right on OU campus!

I guess I've heard of Norman since I watch a little college football. Not recalling Moore. Maybe for people who pay attention to national weather reports?
