You got that right. There's no way I would want to live in a place like China with all the overcrowding. I defintely like room to spread out. Makes for less friction with other people.

I'd say we should let at least 500 million more in to show our love and respect for tolerance, democracy, and human rights, otherwise we would just be hypocrites by not living up to our expectations of spreading chaos, anarchy and instability throughout not only the US, but the world as well. God forbid we be intolerant against anything or anyone (pedophiles, serial killers, *****s)

The question wasn't "will everyone be happy", the question was "is there room".

Has anyone look around the world when it comes to over crowding?
I mean quality of living goes down, crime goes up, food shortages
Why in the heck would I want more people in this country?
US citizens are reproducing at it lowest rate ever...so why do we need to fill the gap with illegals and non-US citizens. US citizens have figured out less people better living conditions.
How about we teach people in other parts of the world the same thing and keep them in there own countries. Perfect example look at India. That place is a mess, people sleeping in the streets, food riots.
People you need to wake up ! Leting more people in this country will not help anyone.
All it will do is make them have "more" kids and more overcrowding.

There must be plenty of room! I sure don't see it, but there are plenty of people out there still having more than 2 children. And I assume that we have all the space in the world for illegal immigrants, because no Leader, no politician, or law-maker wants to touch that issue with a 10-ft pole! So I guess we're expected to ease in to the same style of living as they do in London (friggin' crowded as hell, and the people hate it) and Hong Kong, where we'll eventually live in 50-story apartment dwellings. The best part of this when I think about the traffic. Oh, how fun that will be!

Do you want to live like they do?

I think I'd rather be dead.

We could handle 200M more but not without sustainable planning.

California is supposed to have 60 Million by 2050 and that concerns me greatly because we arent really addressing the issues that must be dissected in order to accomodate that many people.

i dont think the US will ever adress the issue, if we take note of other countries, japan, china, india with hugh populations, i think we can better ourselves into what mistakes or mishaps have happened to them.
