Did I miss Mrs Firecracker's Place closing on Augusta?
Looks to me like that building is probably/possibly condemned. I drove by there today and it certainly looks like the place is closed up, not just not open today.
Mrs. Firecracker's, 3906 Augusta Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605-1336

No FB updates for them since last July, either.
The property is for sale. The phone has been disconnected. It appears Greenville's best known firecrackers store has closed after 50 years of operation.

Not with a bang, but a whimper. That's sad. They went very quietly.
I always kinda wondered how that place stayed open all year.. not a great location, especially after the interstate changes there in 94 or so. Not like it was right across the border and everyone came from another state.
I saw where Fireworks are banned in the City of Spartanburg. Wonder why they haven't been in Greenville which is even more heavy populated? I recall an Apartment complex even catching fire because of them on S Pleasantburg years back when a bottle rocket landed on a balcony. I really don't care for them in my neighborhood with the houses being so close together.

The building looked abandoned like back in October. I wondered then if they were still open.
